AdTech’s tap out cone is made of aluminum silicate fiber with a vacuum filtering shape process rather than traditional handmade. It is featured material evenly distributed, harder than an ordinary cone, tight blockage, and non-slagging and non-stick aluminum. It is used to control or block molten aluminum in a filter bowl or furnace for aluminum alloy casting.
A refractory fiber cone is also called a ceramic fiber tap out cone. The furnace tap-out cone is mainly used for controlling the liquid metal flow.
